I am very blessed to be the principal of this wonderful Catholic school in the tri-parish community of St. Peter, St. Lawrence, and Resurrection Catholic Parishes. This is my ninth year at St. Peter Catholic School and my 32nd year in Catholic education. I enjoy living our motto by praying, playing, and learning with our students.
I taught physical education for four years at St. Matthew Catholic School in Campbellsport, Our Lady of Angels in Armstrong, and St. Mary Catholic School in Mayville. I also taught at St. Mary Springs Academy in Fond du Lac. I was a middle school teacher teaching religion, social studies, and math for ten years, one year in eighth grade and nine years in seventh grade. I was also an athletic director for three years and principal for nine years within St. Mary Springs Academy.
I enjoy golfing and reading in my spare time. I love to watch the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish!

I am thrilled to teach for my seventh year at St. Peter Catholic School, in my hometown of Slinger and also working for my parish. My three brothers, one sister, and I are alumni of St. Peter Catholic School. If you go to the 10:30 AM Mass, you are sure to see me there with my mom and my husband.
I was the K4/K5 teacher at St. Matthew Catholic School in Campbellsport for 25 years. I enjoyed teaching at St. Matthew Catholic School very much, but when the opportunity to teach at St. Peter Catholic School came up, I was ecstatic.
My husband and I enjoy organic gardening, walking, biking, swimming, and kayaking at Pike Lake State Park. I appreciate the beautiful gift of nature and very much appreciate the opportunity to teach your child. I am looking forward to spending a wonderful school year with you and your child as we share our gifts and grow in knowledge and love.
Mrs. Tami Kramer
3K Aide
Milwaukee Area Technical School-Liberal Arts
Being a mother has always been my vocation. When it was time to go back to work, this job was an answer to my prayers.
My family, my husband Jason, children Joseph, Jenna and Jessa moved back to Wisconsin after living in the sunny south for 17 years. We are so happy to be a part of St. Peter parish and school. Everyone has been so welcoming and warm. We enjoy biking, hiking and cooking together.
It is a great pleasure to work with the 3K students and families. It’s a joy to see the children grow in Jesus, as well as socially and academically. This opportunity has been such a blessing to me!

I love being St. Peter’s 4K teacher. I previously taught first and fifth grade.I originally went to school for Journalism and work in social media before going back to school to get my teaching certificate at Cardinal Stritch in 2015.
My goal as a teacher is to inspire life-long learning and model what it means to be a good Catholic citizen. I also want to emphasis the growth mindset, where students may not master the task or standard right away but with practice and work they can make progress.
In my spare time I love to swim, read, and travel.

Mrs. Michelle Devries

I am very excited to be a part of St. Peter Catholic School! Before teaching here, I taught at St. Anthony Parish School in Menomonee Falls. I taught Kindergarten for two years, and 24 years in third grade. I graduated from the University of Whitewater with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Science.
I believe that every child can succeed in an environment that they feel safe in and that is positive. I also believe that all students should have the chance to learn. It is my responsibility to get to know my students, teach them using strategies in which they learn best, and challenge each student at levels that are comfortable enough for them.
I am currently living in Menomonee Falls with my husband (Michael) and my two daughters (Macayla and Marissa). I love watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. I also enjoy everything Disney! When I am not teaching, I enjoy walking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
Mr. Andy Smith
Director of Music and Music Teacher
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Early Childhood Music Education, Adult Music Education, and Choral Music Education
University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee
Greetings from the music room at St. Peter Catholic School! I have been happily teaching music at St. Peter’s for eleven years, having graduated in 2009. I’ve also been the full time Music Director for the Parish for eight years. I have four children, Eli, Josie, Teddy, and Hazel, who are growing up faster than I can keep up. My wife, Laura, is now mostly a stay-at-home mom, while also working outside the home a bit, too, working with children and families as a part of Ozaukee Family Services in Grafton. As a family, we enjoy traveling, running, hiking, playing board games, and spending time with our extended families. May your year be a blessed one!

Mrs. Manya Suchy
Technology Specialist
manya.suchy@stpeterslinger.org
This is my ninth year as the Technology Specialist at St. Peter Catholic School. I enjoy working with 3K – 5th grade students, as it is truly rewarding to watch their eyes light up when they are meeting new challenges with technology.
I have been teaching keyboarding and using 21st Century tools (Google Apps, Typing Web, KIDBLOG, Prezi, SUMDOG) with students and teachers for the past few years. These tools will allow you to view all of the work your child does on the computer, iPad, or Tablet. I absolutely love the fact that students and parents no longer need to worry about having something 100% compatible with school!
I live in Bayside with my husband, Fred, and our only remaining “child” – our chocolate lab, Sommer (11). We have two other daughters – Mackenzie (19) – in her third year at UW-Stevens Point and Alyssa (26) – who was a UW-Madison grad that now works and lives in Washington D.C.
Mrs. Kerry Garcia
Piano Instructor
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music
Alverno College
Master of Arts in Music
Saint Mary of the Woods College
I have been teaching piano for 18 years, and I am very excited to be a part of the staff at St. Peter Catholic School. I also teach at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, while accompanying several choirs and leading church music.
In addition to my background in piano pedagogy, I am a board-certified music therapist, and specialize in working with children and adults of all abilities. I have a background in music therapy with early childhood through 5th grade special education in the public school setting. I am also a member of Music Teachers National Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs, and I attend conferences annually to stay current in new pedagogical research (such as why playing piano makes your child smarter!).
My love for music helps me to instill that same love and excitement for music in your children, and to foster in them this excitement to use their God-given talents to praise our Lord. My Catholic higher education gave me great opportunity to focus on church music and to train our children to be future music leaders of our parishes. Everyday, the children of St. Peter Catholic School make me smile, and I feel truly blessed to be teaching at St. Peter Catholic School.
