St. Peter Catholic School have several safety plans in place.

• Fire Drills  - we have a fire drill once a month from September - May
• Tornado Drills  - we a practice tornado drill with a follow up with the statewide tornado drill
• Lockdown Drills  - we practice lockdown drills twice a year (Fall and Spring)
• Evacuation Drills - we practice evacution drills twice a year (Fall and Spring)
• Classroom Discussions  - the teachers read a book called "I'm Not Scared, I'm Prepared Because I Know All About Alice" and discuss the story.
