We Pray, Play, and Learn
At St. Peter Catholic School, we join together as a whole school at 7:35 AM to pray, recite the pledge of allegiance, celebrate birthdays, and other special announcements. Every grade level prays every morning, before snack/lunch period and end of the day.
Liturgical seasons and special prayers are said during Advent, Lent, Holy Week. Living Rosary are taught in each classroom and Stations of the Cross are meditated on during the season of Lent.
We attend Mass weekly – every Wednesday at 8:00am. All are welcome to pray with us. 4K students attend Mass twice a month and Holy Days. 3K students will attend prayer services.The 5th grade buddies team up with the 5K students and the 4th grade buddies team up with the 4K students at Church.
The students plan the Masses on a rotating basis. Thursday mornings Masses are at 8:00am, grade levels (4K – 5th grade) rotate on a monthly basis to attend the mass with the congregation.
Students in 2nd grade prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in cooperation with Religious Education students at St. Peter Congregation.
The 3rd – 5th grade students have Reconciliation with Fr. Rick Stoffel twice a year (Advent and Lenten seasons).
Service projects include making crafty items and cards for the residents as well as visits with residents at Autumn Oaks Nursing Home and Samaritan Home. We also sell ice cream and cookies to raise money for Christmas presents for families in need.

Fr. Rick Stoffel teaches religion classes twice a month in each classroom (3K – 5th grade). Religious classes and family life are part of our core curriculum.
